We’re excited to introduce Downtime Notifications in PureTest v2.9, keeping users informed about scheduled maintenance and server status directly in the app. This release also introduces a new Known Issues feature, providing transparency about known product issues directly within the app. Combined with numerous bug fixes, PureTest v2.9 delivers a more stable and reliable testing experience.

Key Highlights

Downtime Notifications

PureTest now proactively notifies users about scheduled and current server maintenance, ensuring you’re always aware of when syncing may be unavailable.

Upcoming maintenance notifications appear up to 7 days before scheduled downtime, displaying in both the notification carousel and Notification Center. When maintenance begins, notifications automatically transition to show current downtime status. All notifications are automatically cleared once maintenance ends or is rescheduled.

Key features of Downtime Notifications:

  • Scheduled Downtime – receive advance notice of planned maintenance windows
  • Service Incidents – stay informed about unplanned outages and service disruptions

Enhancements

Known Issues

View known issues and workarounds directly within the PureTest app.

  • Issues are filtered to show only those relevant to your device model for a more personalized experience.
  • Navigate to Known Issues from Settings → Version using the “See all Known Issues” link at the bottom of the screen.
  • The Known Issues screen lists current issues and workarounds by category, with the last updated date shown at the top.
  • Tap the Issue Category dropdown to filter by topic — including Test Results & Reporting, Exports & Syncing, and UI & Calibration.

Bug Fixes

The following issues have been addressed in this release:

  • Fixed issue with test dates for certain accounts.
  • Fixed issue with adding new patients when using Spanish or French language settings.
  • Resolved issues with offline functionality not working as expected.
  • Fixed issue with calibration date for expiry countdown.
  • Fixed BV rapid test headphone detection issue.
  • Fixed room scan when using iPadOS windowed mode.
