SHOEBOX PureTest V2.2

In the latest release of SHOEBOX PureTest we are thrilled to announce two highly anticipated features that cater to the diverse needs of our user base and enhance the overall user experience.

Our commitment to inclusivity has led us to expand our biological sex options, ensuring that all users are appropriately represented within our testing platform. With this update, users can now select “unspecified” as a biological sex option, in addition to the existing male and female choices. Note that biological sex is a mandatory field in occupational health if the customer chooses to apply age corrections factors to shift calculations, which close to 100% of SHOEBOX U.S. customers do. Age correction factors are published by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and are significantly different between sexes.

In addition, we understand that many of our users share devices and the ability to switch between user accounts seamlessly is crucial for a smooth experience. With this in mind, we have developed a new feature that allows users to switch accounts even when there is unsynced data on the app.

This release also includes several bug fixes and refinements aimed at delivering a truly elevated user experience.

In version 2.1 of PureTest, we have made several changes under the hood to enhance the performance and reliability of the application. With these changes, you can expect a smoother, more efficient experience when using the app. This release also includes a number of bug fixes and other enhancements.

SHOEBOX PureTest V2.0.2

This release fixes critical bugs related to sound output that prevented the app from functioning properly. SHOEBOX PureTest must be upgraded to this release V2.0.2 to be compatible with the current iPadOS 16.1.x. Please do not test with earlier versions of SHOEBOX PureTest if your device is at or beyond iPad OS 16.1.x.

This release fixes critical bugs that caused the app to shutdown during launch when migrating from a previous release when testing online with unsynced items.

Notice issued on November 19, 2022: We are currently investigating an issue with SHOEBOX Audiometry PureTest running on iPadOS 16.1 and 16.1.1. Please stop testing if your SHOEBOX device is running these iPadOS versions. If you are on a previous version of iPadOS please do not upgrade until further notice. You can contact support@shoebox.md if you did not receive our notification.

In this release, we are introducing a big time saver where you will now be able to perform your daily Biological Verification much faster. After a Biological Verification (BV) baseline has been set in the app (regular BV test that captures thresholds), all subsequent BV tests will be performed using a new interface that is faster than a regular hearing test. Other enhancements have been added as well as bug fixes have been addressed. At the time of this release, SHOEBOX PureTest is only supported on iPadOS15 and iPadOS16.
