SHOEBOX Data Management V3.32

SHOEBOX Data Management V3.32

Updated: September 28, 2026

SHOEBOX Data Management Portal 3.32 introduces the Occupational Health Compliance Dashboard, a new dashboard view that provides self-service compliance metrics for occupational hearing testing programs. This release also includes enhancements to patient restoration workflows, a streamlined Learning Section, and numerous bug fixes across reporting, data imports, and patient management.

Key Highlights

The highlight of this release is the new Occupational Health Compliance Dashboard, which brings program-level compliance reporting into the portal itself.

Occupational Health Compliance Dashboard

Administrators can monitor hearing-test compliance across projects, review overdue testing, track Standard Threshold Shifts (STS), and drill down to the underlying patients, all from the portal dashboard.

  • Project Overview tab – a per-project compliance table shows active and inactive employees, employees tested, overdue counts (in total and split by annual, initial, and retest testing), STS, Recordable STS, and a compliance percentage for each project.
  • Status filter and search – the project table can be filtered by compliance status (Compliant, At Risk, Critical, or Non-compliant) and searched by project name.
  • Project selector – the dashboard project selector also filters the compliance table, so administrators can focus on the projects they manage.
  • Patient drill-down – count cells link to a drill-down page listing the underlying patients, with patient-name search and pagination.
  • Configurable thresholds – administrators can define the compliance ranges (Non-compliant, Critical, At Risk, Compliant) on a dedicated settings page, with a Reset to default option. The Overall Compliance indicator color follows these thresholds.
  • Data freshness – a banner explains that dashboard data reflects an overnight snapshot rather than real-time results.
  • Role-based access – users with Admin and PHI access see all compliance data, PHI-only users see the Project Overview scoped to their assigned projects, and Admin-only users see threshold settings without patient data.

Important: The dashboard appears only for organizations with a PureTest license.

Enhancements

Restore Deleted Patients

Restoring a patient from Deleted Patients now shows clear confirmation of success or failure, with a direct link to the restored patient record on success.

A deleted patient’s audiogram history now appears in read-only mode for Reviewers. Creating a new audiogram, changing baselines, and adding notes are disabled, and a banner explains that the patient must be restored before edits can be made.

Deleted patient record open in view-only mode with a banner explaining the file must be restored before it can be edited

Streamlined Learning Section

The dashboard Learning Section is streamlined to the most useful resources, SHOEBOX U and Need Help?, and is now shown to administrators only, reducing dashboard clutter for other users.

Bug Fixes

The following issues have been addressed in this release:

  • Secure File Management: Resolved an issue where files uploaded from the Customer Portal were not versioned, so repeated uploads now create new versions. Also resolved misaligned columns and cut-off status dropdown symbols on the page.
  • Patient merge: Resolved issues where merged records labeled audiograms “Unknown” instead of Imported or Automated, and where action history and pending referral dates were incorrect after a merge.
  • Patient and audiogram imports: Resolved issues where imports could remain in the Scheduled state and never run, and where the CSV import conflict message showed “[null]” instead of the conflicting update date.
  • Reports and exports: Resolved issues where some patient records were missing PureTest result report PDFs in Documents and Audiogram history, and where ZIP roster reports and Standard and Recordable Shift reports could fail to generate or omit individual patient summary reports.
  • Reviewer exports: Resolved an issue where the patient page Export menu was empty for Reviewers. Reviewers can now export the Summary Report.
  • Delete and Save buttons: Resolved issues where buttons remained enabled when they should not; the Delete button on the Patients page with no patient selected, and the Save button on the PureTest Settings pages after a successful save.
  • Breadcrumbs: Fixed the breadcrumb on the Deleted Patients page, which previously showed an incorrect “Recycle Bin” label.
